How we check grants
Every scheme comes from its official source: the funder, combined authority, council or government body. Each listing has a last-checked date, and anything we can't confirm is marked "check with funder" rather than guessed. Before each issue we re-check deadlines and amounts. More about our method.
Sponsored slots
Sponsor slots will open once we reach 100 subscribers. Sponsors never influence which schemes we include. Want to reach North East business owners? See sponsor options.

What is the What's open this week newsletter?
A free email sent every Monday morning listing new, changed and closing grants, loans and funding schemes for businesses in North East England, each linked to its official source.
How often will you email me?
Once a week, on Monday morning. Very occasionally we may send a short alert when a major scheme opens or a big deadline is close.
Is it free?
Yes. The newsletter is free and always will be. Sponsor slots will open once we reach 100 subscribers.
Who is it for?
Owners, directors and managers of small and medium-sized businesses in Tyne & Wear, Northumberland, County Durham and Tees Valley, plus the accountants, advisers and support organisations who help them.
How do you check the grants?
Every scheme comes from its official source, such as the funder, combined authority or council. We record a last-checked date and mark unclear details as "check with funder". We re-check deadlines and amounts before each issue.
Do sponsors affect what you include?
No. Sponsored slots are clearly labelled and kept separate. Sponsors never decide which schemes we include or how we describe them.
How do I unsubscribe?
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email hello@northeastsourced.co.uk and we will delete your data.
Do you sell my email address?
No. We never sell or share your address. It is used only to send this newsletter.
